Euch allen ein wunderschönes neues Jahr 2012 !
Und da es zumindest hier im hohen Norden so dermaßen trist und grau anfängt, hier einmal der Beweis, dass hinter all diesem Grau immer noch die Sonne scheint! Diesen Anblick durfte ich auf der Rückreise meines Weihnachtsurlaubs einfangen.
In Schottland war der Neujahrstag ein sonniger. Und so machten wir auch einen langen Spaziergang durch's nahe Wäldchen, bevor Koffer gepackt und der letzte Abend noch einmal ganz entspannt im Pub genossen wurde.

And since it's been starting up here in the north of Germany rather unpleasant and grey, here is the proof that behind all these grey clouds the sun is still shining! This shot I was able to catch on my journey back from my christmas holidays.

In Scotland the new year's day was a sunny one. And so we took a long and wonderful walk through the nearby wood before packing luggage and finishing the last day with a relaxed drink in the pub.

Meine im Dezember fertiggestellten Strickschätze wollen alle erst noch bildlich festgehalten werden, doch auch heute ist es schon wieder zu dunkel für Fotos. Hach, diese Jahreszeit!
Nichtsdestotrotz - mir gefällt das Jahr so frisch und neu.

Here in Kiel the storm front has finally arrived. It's stormy and raining cats and dogs.

My in december finished knitting treasures still need to be photographed but today once again it's too dark for taking pictures. Oh, this winter season!

Still, I like this year so fresh and new.
