Eine ganze Weile.... - Quite a while....

...habe ich mich hier nicht mehr blicken lassen. Zwar habe ich doch immer fleißig viele andere Blogs verfolgt, doch bei meinem eigenen fehlten mir die Worte.

Anfang des Jahres hat sich bei mir, wie sagt man so schön, "im Privaten" einiges verändert. Und während dies geschah, merkte ich, wie sehr mich dies bisher auch vereinnahmt hatte. Es war, als müßte ich nun erst wieder bei mir selber ankommen. Doch waren die Zeiten unruhig und sind es teilweise noch immer. Ich hatte keinen Draht mehr zu meinen Ideen und lag brach.

Ganz langsam nun hab ich das Gefühl, dass meine "Kanäle" wieder frei werden. Mit vielen Gedanken im Gepäck geht es weiter. Schauen wir mal, was da so kommt... 

Und ich kann euch sogar etwas zeigen. Ich habe gestrickt, mit schön dickem Garn für das schnelle Erfolgserlebnis. ;-) Also, Du Winter, man erzählt sich, Du sollst ein Kalter werden. Ich bin bereit!

I haven't been writing here. At the beginning of the year a few things had changed concerning my so called "private life" and as this happened I realised how much space it actually took in my mind. I felt like I had to find the way back home to myself. But times were uneasy and sometimes still are. The connection to my ideas got lost.

Very slowly now my channels seem to open up again. With many thoughts on board I'll go on, curious what i might find. And I can even show you some results. I've been knitting - with thick yarn for the fast success! ;-) So winter, they say you'll be a cold one. I'm ready!

Meine Alderbrook Jacke aus dicker Drops-Wolle. Auf halber Strecke hatte ich gemerkt, dass ich mich total verstrickt hatte und musste erstmal schlucken. Nachdem ich mir ein Herz gefasst und geribbelt hatte, gelang der zweite Versuch.

Noch einmal mit umgeklapptem Kragen....

...und aufgestelltem Kragen. Noch ist die Jacke etwas zu warm. Ich hatte während des Fotografierens den einen oder anderen Schweißausbruch.

Und dann gibt es da noch den Idlewood.

Von der gleichen Designerin - man merkt's irgendwie an den Namen - und gestrickt aus Schoppels Alpaka Queen. Auch so ein schnelles und vor allem schön einfaches Stück.

And the second piece is the Idlewood.
It's from the same designer as you might guess as the names seem a bit related. It's made of Schoppels Alpaka Queen wool. Also a fast and very easily knitted project.

Im Moment gibt es noch keine neuen Pläne, doch viele kleine Ideen rauschen an den Fenstern vorbei. Irgendeine wird sicher bald anklopfen.

Kater Jonte hat sich prächtig gemacht. Davon bald mehr!

I have no new plans so far but many ideas are rushing by outside my windows. One of them surely will come in very soon. By the way, tomcat Jonte is an absolute crazy and wonderful creature! More of him very soon!
