Warten auf Vollendung - waiting for completion

Da guckt sie nun also aus ihrem Filz heraus, eingefangen an den Abenden der vergangenen Woche. Am Wochenende sollte sie fertig werden, doch als ich mich eben an die Nähmaschine setzte, mußte ich feststellen, dass der Nähfuß seinen Geist aufgegeben hatte. Immer gerade dann, wenn's am ungüstigsten ist! Nun werde ich wohl erstmal meinen Mut zur Improvisation suchen müssen - oder am Montag weitermachen. Ein paar Tage habe ich ja noch.

There she is, looking up from the surface of her felt, caught during the evenings of the past week. Actually I wanted to finish her on the weekend but just when I sat down on my sewing mashine I realised that the presser foot got broken. A completely useless thing to happen! Maybe I'll go and try some improvisation - or simply continue on monday. There are still a few days left.
