Der tägliche Katzenwahnsinn - The daily cat's insanity

In manchen Momenten schleiche ich durch meine Wohnung und frage mich, wo eigentlich Amy steckt. Meist ist es so, dass sie mir bereits fünf Schritte voraus ist - sie weiß, wann ich frühstücke, wann ich das Zimmer wechsle und scheinbar auch, wann ich das Bad betrete.
Mache ich nämlich dort das Licht an, höre ich bereits ein erwartungsvolles "brrrrr..." und es bietet sich mir dieses Bild....

Sometimes I sneak around my flat wondering where Amy might be. Mostly she's five steps ahead of me - she knows when I'm usually having breakfast, when I go from one room to the other and obviously she knows when I'm going to enter the bath. When I switch on the light there I can hear an eager "brrrr..." and it's this picture I see next....

Die Dame erwartet mich....
The lady's awaiting me...

... und blickt zielsicher auf den ollen Wasserhahn.
...and focuses unerringly on the ol' tap.

Drehe ich diesen nur ein kleines Stück auf, betrachtet sie fasziniert den feinen Wasserstrahl, um schließlich irgendwann zu trinken. Nur darum geht es. Katzen!!

So I open it up just a tiny little bit and she sights this thin jet of water absolutely fascinated, only to drink from it in the end. That's what it's all about. Cats!!
